Job Summary
The Secured Substitute Teacher is an integral part of the instructional staff and is expected to assume the same responsibilities as the regular classroom teachers including teaching in a manner that supports the district’s Guiding Principles Under the direction of the site administrator. Provide classroom coverage as assigned when the regular teachers are absent. The Secured Substitute Teacher must be confident teaching a wide range of developmental age groups. This position will be a daily substitute teaching position at a designated site(s).

* California Teaching Credential (preferred) or Emergency 30-Day Substitute Permit * Resume * Complete copies of transcripts (front and back) * College/University placement papers or three (3) current letters of reference * California Basic Education Skills Test (CBEST) Verification * Verification of DOJ fingerprint processing through the County Office of Education * Verification of TB Clearance
