Job Summary
Long term assignments (30 days or more) will be based on subject matter and grade level credentials, principal and teacher requests, previous evaluations, and availability of substitute. Will be paid at $250 per day.

For your application to considered for employment, please ensure that the following materials are attached: 1) A copy of all valid California credentials, Substitute Teaching Permit, or information indicating that an emergency Substitute Teaching Permit is in progress 2) Resume 3) Verification of Basic Skills (CBEST test or other states' equivalent, ACT, PSAT, or coursework meeting basic skills criteria) 4) Transcripts with verification of Bachelors Degree (or coursework if a student working on an educational degree who has applied for a Substitute Permit for Prospective Teachers) 5) Three (3) recent letters of reference

Credential Requirement: The applicant must hold a California Teaching Credential (preferred) or an Emergency Substitute Permit to be eligible for substitute employment. If you are a recent graduate who has completed education classes and have a recommend from your college and proof of payment for your credential, you can apply. If you are a student enrolled in coursework to complete your bachelor's program working towards becoming a teacher and meet the qualifications for the Substitute Teaching Permit for Prospective Teachers, submit the transcripts that allow you to meet this criteria.
