Job Summary
The cafeteria manager/cook is responsible for providing a wholesome and efficient food service program to K-8 students and is responsible for the the overall operations of the cafeteria. Functions include but are not limited to: Menu planning, food preparation and serving, procurement of food/supplies and maintenance of inventory, staff supervision, knowledge and practice of proper food handling and sanitization requirements, compiling and maintaining accurate records and reports for state/federal compliance. HS Diploma or equivalent Food Safety Manager Certification (Must have completed prior to start) Two year experience/education in preparing food in commercial or institutional operation
