Stockton Unified School District (SUSD) began providing services to students in 1852 and is located in the heart of California’s Central Valley near the banks of the San Joaquin River. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS To qualify for an Emergency Substitute Teaching Permit for Prospective Teachers: -Completion of 90 semester units of coursework from a regionally accredited four year college or university -Current enrollment in a four year college (letter of verification required) -CBEST passing score or qualifying BSR OR To qualify for a 30 Day Emergency Substitute Permit: -Bachelor’s Degree -CBEST Passing Status or qualifying BSR
