About the Position

The teacher is also responsible for differentiating instruction to meet the needs of Special populations and English Learners. You will be joining a dedicated staff who put the needs of the students first and where a sense of community exist between the school and the families we serve. Teachers will administer both formative and summative assessments, communicate with parents of students in their HOUSE and other team members about student progress, and plan corrective instruction based on data as well as vertically. A growth mindset is an essential trait that goes hand in hand with the teachers openness to receiving and implementing feedback. Being tech savvy and integrating it into your lessons will help us graduate 21st century scholars ready to compete locally, nationally and internationally for acceptance into 4 year colleges or the job market. Applicants must hold a California credential (out-of-state candidates will be assisted in CA credentialing process) and be highly qualified (HQ). Teaching experience within an urban school setting and with EL students will be beneficial.
