(See comments below before applying) 1. Must hold a current California Teaching Credential or Current 30-Day Substitute *Permit (with teaching experience and classroom management). (*The California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) announced a waiver of credential fees for initial applications including the substitute teacher permit - through June 30th, 2022. That means that this year new subs won't be required to pay $100 for their permit.) 2. Resume (including your teaching experience) 3. Two (2) 'Signed' Letters of Recommendation (pertaining to your teaching background) 4. Must have Fingerprints on file through the 'Fingerprint Clearinghouse' of the San Diego County Office of Education. (Please see link for additional information - https://www.sdcoe.net/human- resources/fingerprinting/Pages/default.aspx) 5. The first 3 requirements MUST be attached to your EdJoin application. (Your application will NOT be complete without the required attachments.) > ALL 'sections' of the application MUST be completed. ONLY COMPLETED APPLICATIONS WILL BE REVIEWED.
ADDITIONAL CERTIFICATIONS: * Current TB Test must be available * JPA Trainings will be required for both Mandatory Reporter and Sexual Harassment through CUSD, or proof of certifications taken elsewhere. (If you currently have certifications available from another District you are welcome to attach them also) * Vaccine Verifications will be implemented eff. Aug. 11, 2021 based on the CA Dept of Public Health order - shorturl.at/lFJOW *Applications will not be processed if Clearinghouse fingerprints are not on file with the San Diego County Office of Education, nor a CTC or 30 Day Permit on record.
