Job Summary

This position supervises school children in the cafeteria, on the playground, and in other areas of the school grounds. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Supervise hallways, yard during nutrition and lunch periods. • Assist in classrooms when needed • Supervise students before, during and after school. • Organize recess equipment • Plan for structured nutrition/lunch recess activities. • Enforce school safety rules. • Support with the implementation of Positive Behavior Intervention Support (PBIS). • Engage in positive interactions with staff, parents and students. • Aide in other school-wide duties as assigned by the leadership team • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
