Under the direction of the Superintendent/Principal, the Extended Day Leader will provide assistance and tutoring to students in the after school program, and will lead engaging academic, enrichment, and recreation activities with groups of up to 14 students. Extended Day Leaders will provide opportunities for students to develop & strengthen academic, physical, and social skills. This position does require you to work at the Somis School campus (TK-8). Extended Day Leaders will also be responsible for keeping track of weekly hours. Position is temporary and will end on June 15, 2023.

A basic skills test will be administered to those who qualify based off the application . A passing score must be obtained.
1 year minimum experience working in a school or after school program with students.
