POSITION DESCRIPTION: The job of Child Care Liaison is done for the purpose(s) of providing resources to site staff and providers, providing child care referrals and parenting information and/or eligibility information/enrollment in compliance with county, state and/or federal requirements; providing information on services available to children and families; conveying information regarding county office activities and procedures; and referring families to other agencies. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Job related experience is required. Two years of experience working in Early Childhood Education or related work. REQUIRED EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent and community college and/or vocational school degree with study in job related areas. Associate of Arts degree or (2) years of college with emphasis in Early Childhood Education. Bachelor’s degree is highly desirable. REQUIRED TESTING Once this position closes, your application will be screened for minimum qualifications. Those who meet the minimum qualifications will be e-mailed an invitation for testing. Testing will tentatively be held on November 24, 2020.
