Applicants MUST meet the proficiency requirement in any one of the following ways: • Complete 48 semester or 72 quarter college units (SEE NOTE BELOW) • Hold an AA or higher degree (SEE NOTE BELOW) • Pass the CBEST • Pass the District’s “No Child Left Behind” test PLEASE NOTE: If you have completed college or university coursework in an institution in a country other than the United States, you MUST obtain a FOREIGN TRANSCRIPT EVALUATION.

Fingerprint & TB Clearance will be required. Paperwork for fingerprinting will be provided upon hire.
*This position requires the successful completion of a static strength test as a condition of employment. Successful completion of the test is correlated with the ability to perform the essential physical tasks identified for this position.
Hours and days will vary. Assignments will included special day class and 1:1 paras working with mild/mod or intensive disabled students preschool thru age 22.
