Must be knowledgeable and competent in the areas of: a. Care and preventing athletic injuries, basic first aid and emergency procedures; b. Coaching techniques; c. Rules and regulations in the athletic activity being coached; and d. Child and adolescent psychology, whichever is appropriate to the grade level of the involved activity.

The following position(s) is currently held by walk-on coaches. In accordance with EdCode and District Policy, an annual search for Certificated Staff to fill these positions must be made.
*a certificated employee interested in any of these positions must be qualified in the sport.
