The history teacher provides the foundation for the critical lens in analyzing current events through a historical context within an interdisciplinary structure of Project- Based Learning and Blended Learning Approach. The history teacher inspires scholars to use language as a way to express their inherent creativity and understand change as it relates to societal development. The teacher candidate will be confident in modeling and reinforcing the fundamentals of writing, reading comprehension, diction and word application within the social studies course. AMA is an opportunity to re-create its own version of the Harlem Renaissance within the community it serves and the history teacher plays a critical role in supporting the accountability of meeting those expectations.
