Requirements / Qualifications
In-District Teachers will have first priority. Current 2018-19 BUSD teachers need only to submit a Certificated Request for Transfer. Please send the form to Human Resources.
If you have a BA/BS in American Sign Language, we may be able to apply for an emergency permit. You would be eligible to apply.

- Credential Copy (SS: World Language - American Sign Language or Intern Eligible Letter (If you have a BA/BS in American Sign Language, we may be able to apply for an emergency permit. You would be eligible to apply.)
- English Learner Authorization (If EL authorization is embedded, please attach credential twice. )
- Letter of Introduction
- Letter(s) of Recommendation (3)
- Resume
- Single Subject Teaching Credential - World Languages-Languages other than English (specify) (American Sign Language)

Maximum number of years of teaching experience while holding a valid teaching credential outside the Beaumont Unified School District granted is fifteen (15) years. Salary placement with fifteen (15) or more years is step 16.
